Ultimate

Ultimate Frisbee is an incredible sport that has been keeping me busy (and somewhat in shape) since high school. There's a huge community in Seattle, from intramurals on campus to city league teams to some of the top club teams in the nation. I get involved as much as I can, mainly playing with a league team called Warped Disk.

I started playing seriously as an undergrad with Cloud Nine, Rice's club team. I played for five years and went to nationals with them once, and I played with a Houston club team called Black Angus for a summer after graduating. Besides Warped Disk, these days I also play with the CSE intramural teams (Max Flow and Min Cut), as well as "hat league" teams each season. And of course, I'm always up for a pickup game or throwing around.

Rice Ultimate


I played on Rice University's club team, Cloud Nine, for all five years that I was in Texas. We traveled to tournaments all over the country and made it to Nationals twice.
